It’s time to celebrate Winter Wonderland in Overwatch 2

It is that time of the year when Overwatch Winter Wonderland is back to the game. This is the first time Overwatch 2 is having this event, and while players are still a bit unsatisfied with how Blizzard is treating the game, it is always nice to see new content coming into the game, especially during the holidays.

Get additional XP with event missions

If you are still wondering how to play Overwatch 2 and start grinding the battle passes for experience, all you have to do is install the game and play it for free. While not everyone is a fan of the battle pass, as it can be quite a grind, the eight event missions are going to get you a total of 12000 experience.

In order to complete the missions, you will have to play the game modes that some players might already be familiar with. While playing these will not get you closer to participating in Overwatch esports, you might still run into some of the best Overwatch players while playing Freezethaw Elimination, Snowball Deathmatch, Yeti Hunter, and Mei’s Snowball Offensive.

Pick up some new skins

While enjoying the winter game modes, you might want to pick up one of the newer skins that Echo, Mei, and a couple of other heroes received this season. Of course, there are also some older skins available for purchase too.

Watch Twitch for rewards

Tuning into Overwatch 2 esports streams on Twitch will let you get your hands on amazing drops. One of the drops is going to be the Festive D. Va victory pose that you get for two hours of watching any Overwatch 2 stream with drops, which looks quite Christmassy. If you watch it for four hours instead, you will also receive the beautiful Sleighing Legendary D. Va skin.

Of course, by logging into the game during these events, you can also expect to get a Festive Wreath weapon charm and the 2023 icon. Enjoy the holidays in Overwatch 2 before the esports scene returns in 2023!
