It has been little more than a week since Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 launched, but fans are already neck-deep in the action. In the latest update to the Chapter, Epic Games dished out information on the MrBeast x Fortnite crossover, revealing an upcoming tournament worth $1 million.
There’s a whole range of MrBeast content dropping in Fortnite very soon, including the MrBeast Smasher Pickaxe, MrBeast Gaming Spray, and of course, the MrBeast Skin. As one of the most impactful collaborations to ever occur in Fortnite, Epic Games has a whole host of entertainment planned, going live today, December 13th.

Win $1 Million in the MrBeast x Fortnite Challenge
Players can unlock the Beast Brella Umbrella in the Challenge
Today, on December 13th, the MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge island will be activated, but the challenge itself won’t go live until the 17th of December. For the chance to win $1 million, any player can load into the island and complete a series of exciting challenges to rack up ‘Score’. There’s one goal: rack up as many points as possible before the match is over. However, players will need to act fast, as MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge will only be live for three hours – from 12 PM to 3 PM ET.
For the most successful, highest-scoring player, a prize of $1 million awaits, but if you make it into the top 100,000, you’ll unlock the exclusive Beast Brella Umbrella. There are a few caveats to the deal, and there are various boxes you’ll need to tick to be counted as eligible for the challenge:
- You must have 2FA enabled and a verified Epic account.
- Your account must be at Level 15 or above.
There are no minimum age requirements and very few geographical restrictions. If you’re interested in seeing the full list of rules and regulations, you can find them on the Epic Games website.
When the MrBeast x Fortnite collaboration goes live today, players are free to load into the Extreme Survival Challenge island and start practising. This is likely to be a massively competitive event akin to a Fortnite esports tournament, and millions of players are sure to get involved.
