With the release of the new expansion, Blizzard has found quite a few ways to celebrate, and one of them is by letting you enjoy watching streams of your favorite streamers while getting a “free” pet when you subscribe to their channel.
How to get a pet?
From November 28 at 3:00 PM PST until December 12 at 11:59 PM PST, if you subscribe to one of the eligible streamers during the Dragonflight expansion launch, you will get a free Ichabod Pet, which is a cute little harvest golem that is definitely worth supporting your favorite streamer for. To be eligible for the pet, you will, of course, first have to link your Battle.net account to your Twitch account.
We suggest checking out the official blue post to find a list of eligible streamers, as the list is quite long. One important note is that if the channel on the list is streaming a different game, you will not get the pet if you subscribe, so make sure the category they are streaming is “World of Warcraft” when you hit that subscribe button. Yes, Twitch Prime subscriptions also count.
Many other goodies await
While you are watching your favorite streamers during the launch event of Dragonflight, you can not only admire their new Dragonflight UI creations, but you will also be eligible for additional rewards if you stay on stream for a few hours. There are a couple of rewards in the form of Twitch Drops, including the famous free Feldrake mount, a mount that was valued at around $3000 before Blizzard decided to give it away for free during this event.
Considering that Dragonflight is somewhat competing with Wrath of the Lich King Classic, we are quite excited to see what kind of response and feedback it gets from the World of Warcraft fans during the first week, especially the feedback from the streamers that are participating in the event.
